Teito kissed me.

I showed him some of my memories and he kissed me.

I didn't think he was that sort ... what memory was it?

It was four memories... the first time I met him where he punched me, a time when I was friendly but he told me to go away, that time he punched Shuri for my honor, and a memory of him talking to Bishop Labrador about my death.

Maybe he was just overwhelmed.

There was a memory a little before those ones, too. That one made him cry.

... even with what little he told me before, I imagine there's a lot.

[floorcandy]

They were big memories.

And uh... I did kiss him back.

Ah ... did you ...

[floorcandy]

Lightly.

I see ...

[pinching the bridge of his nose]

I think, then, this is the big question -- what do you want now?

I want Teito to stop beating himself up over what happened.

[floorcandy]

He feels selfish, guilty, and hypocritical.

And all before dinnertime.

A very productive day for Teito Klein.

[wryly] Where does he find the time.

But I don't mean about what you want for him, Mikage. What do you want for yourself?

[floorcandy]

I want to be able to hold the people I love.

[quercusoptima]

That's a very vague answer.

[floorcandy]

It's the only answer I have right now. There's Teito and one or two other crushes, but I haven't thought about what I want there because I have Shuri. I'm not the best boyfriend, but he's still important to me.

[nods slowly]

... I can't say that I'm not unbiased here, of course. But the first thing I'd say needs to be done is for you to figure that out, whether it's staying faithful to Shuri or letting him know you want to move on.

[floorcandy]

Even if I thought I wanted to, there's no way I could bring myself to break up with Shuri like that. It's something he would deserve to hear face-to-face... I'd be talking to him about this, but "Mother" won't even let me send letters.
